Each day that every student in a class is present, the class will earn a new part for their Mr. Potato Head. Once the class completes their Present Potato, students will celebrate with a special chip party! Let’s work together to promote good attendance and ensure our scholars are at school, on time, and ready to learn every day!

Tuesday, August 18th - Kindergarten
Wednesday, August 19th - 1st Grade
Thursday, August 20th - 2nd Grade

Please take a moment to read the August edition of Dr. Byrd's newsletter for important updates, reminders, and information as we continue to have a strong start to the school year.

Students put their collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills to work as they faced an exciting challenge: save Sam by getting him safely into his “life jacket.” Working together, our young scientists developed strategies, tested their ideas, and made adjustments until Sam was safe.

Join us for Meet the Teacher. August 6th from 4pm-6pm. During Meet the Teacher, you will drop off classroom supplies, receive your car tag and can sign-up for before/after care if needed.

Good morning,
We need our outgoing third through fifth graders to complete the following survey. Please have your child complete this for us.

Camp Clark is on June 22nd. Please see attached image.
Message from Clark-Shaw:
We look forward to meeting our 6th grade students and helping them transition to middle school. They will pay for the camp during registration and receive their t-shirt to wear at that time. Students are required to wear tennis shoes and some comfortable bottoms to camp.

AFFIDAVIT OF RESIDENCE
As we were preparing to send home yearbooks, we found a lot of misprinted ones. We do have enough correctly printed yearbooks to send home with third through fifth grade students who pre-ordered. These will be sent home on Friday, May 8. Students in kindergarten through second grade who pre-ordered yearbooks will receive them as soon as the correct books arrive. Due to the misprint issue, we are unable to sell yearbooks at this time but will update as soon as possible.
We appreciate your understanding and patience as we wait for the production company to correct this.
Thank you.
