As we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week this month, Mobile County Public Schools would like to thank our teachers for their dedication, hard work, and enthusiasm demonstrated throughout the 2024-25 school year. While May gives us a designated time to celebrate, our teachers deserve to be thanked every single day for the vital role they play in shaping the future of our students and our community.
This school year has been one for the books. Our district improved our state report card grade to a solid B, a testament to the excellence of our schools and the incredible impact of our teaching staff. We’ve implemented new school security measures, including a cell-phone free policy, which have enhanced both student participation and focus in the classroom. This year, we were even fortunate enough to experience a rare snow break—a reminder of how special and unpredictable the school year can be!
MCPSS is proud to honor our Teachers of the Year from all 90 schools. While each of these outstanding educators is deserving of recognition, we know that every teacher in our district is phenomenal. So, to all of our teachers—thank you. Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom, shaping the future of Mobile County, one student at a time.
